Logging in Modularity

The logging application, VBVLog, has been modified for modularity. It shows the events for a single application (master or slave) at a time. You can switch between applications using the menu option View/Applications. When master is selected, VBVLog displays a mixture of log events.

Note: Sometimes VBVLog displays nothing when you start an application. VBVLog remembers which application to display by writing to VBVoice.INI. If VBVLog's display is empty, use the View/Applications menu option to select the correct application.

The slave does not send VBVLog or NLog messages to the master in order to conserve on network bandwidth. However, you can override this behaviour if you want greater logging detail.

To enable slave logging to the master:Use NLog and connect the slave machine using a second instance of NLog.
