Installing and Licensing Intel HMP

Installing

You can demo the full version of HMP 2.0 or HMP 3.0 software by downloading it from Dialogic (Intel) with a time-limited license. The HMP software is also included on the VBVoice 8 install CD with full production licensing.

Refer to the Intel HMP installation guide for installation instructions.

With full production licensing, use the VBVoice Voice Interface Installer to install HMP as a new card type. The Voice Interface Installer will set [voicecard] in vbvoice.ini as type=IntelHMP.

There is an [Intel] section in vbvoice.ini, where you can set the H323 signalling port, the SIP signalling port, and the IP connection method.

Licensing

Contact Pronexus Sales, an authorized distributor of HMP, to purchase VBVoice with HMP production licensing.

You cannot dynamically allocate HMP resources in VBVoice 8. Therefore, the appropriate number of licenses must be available when the system starts.

1 VBVoice channel for IP requires the following licenses:

• Voice

• 1 RTP G.711

1 VBVoice channel for PSTN requires the following licenses:

• Voice

Use of Conference control:

• 1 conferencing license per participant

• The number of conferencing licenses could be less than number of channels, but this limits the number of participants
